Der Reboot des Fußballklassikers wurde schon 2018 als Simulcast bei Anime on Demand gestreamt und letztes Jahr auch auf ProSiebenMaxx ausgestrahlt.Ab 28. Januar 2021 wird die neue „Captain Tsubasa“-Serie dann auch auf DVD und Blu-ray in den Handel kommen. Die insgesamt 52 Episoden werden dabei auf vier Volumes aufgeteilt.
