The Tasty Florida (2021)

Seo Hae-Won has just moved into his new home and immediately makes the acquaintance of some special neighbours: on the roof of the building is the popular Chinese restaurant “Florida Banjeom”. Every day, numerous customers flock to this restaurant and thus also past Hae-Won’s flat. The staff is a real eye-catcher, which is why there is never a shortage of customers and admirers. Through a recommendation from Cha Ji-Soo, the owner of another restaurant, Hae-Won takes a part-time job at “Florida Banjeom”. He gets along well with his colleagues and is able to fit in with the staff without any major problems. But for some reason, Baek Eun-Kyu, the owner and chef of the restaurant, seems to have a serious problem with him. Just like his co-workers, he is a handsome man who is ogled by female customers. And even Hae-Won is attracted to him …

Seo Hae-Won ist frisch in sein neues Zuhause eingezogen und macht auch gleich Bekanntschaft mit etwas speziellen Nachbarn: Auf dem Dach des Gebäudes befindet sich nämlich das beliebte Chinarestaurant »Florida Banjeom«. Tagtäglich strömen zahlreiche Kunden in dieses Restaurant und somit auch an Hae-Wons Wohnung vorbei. Die Belegschaft ist ein wahrer Blickfang, weshalb es an Kunden und Verehrern nie mangelt. Durch eine Empfehlung von Cha Ji-Soo, dem Besitzer eines anderen Restaurants, nimmt Hae-Won einen Teilzeitjob im »Florida Banjeom« an. Er versteht sich gut mit seinen Kollegen und kann sich ohne größere Probleme in die Belegschaft einfügen. Doch aus irgendeinem Grund scheint Baek Eun-Kyu, der Besitzer und Chefkoch des Restaurants, ein ernstes Problem mit ihm zu haben. Genauso wie seine Mitarbeiter ist auch er ein gut aussehender Mann, der von den Kundinnen angeschmachtet wird. Und selbst Hae-Won fühlt sich zu ihm hingezogen …
