Im 19. Jahrhundert ziehen Schaukämpfer der japanischen Samurai-Krieger durch China. Sie treten gegen einige Kung-Fu Meister an, wobei der Sieger aber immer schon vorher fest steht. Die Japaner wollen so ihre Überlegenheit gegenüber dem Reich der Mitte demonstrieren. Der Meister Chen beherrscht jedoch die hohe Kampfkunst des Wu-Dang, dem die Japaner nicht gewachsen sind und kann sich ihnen gegenüber behaupten. Kurz darauf jedoch wird er von einem chinesischen Kollaborateur ermordet, und zugleich sein angehender Schwiegersohn bei einem Schaukampf von seinem japanischen Gegner tödlich verwundet. Daraufhin schwört Meister Chens Tochter Xuejiao bittere Rache. Und die Tochter des großen Kämpfers hatte einen sehr guten Lehrmeister …
