Die Geschichte dreht sich um den Hauptdarsteller Hirono Hiro, einen armen Highschool-Studenten, welcher Shoujo-Mangas zeichnet um sich seinen Unterhalt zu verdienen. In einer kalten Weihnachtsnacht, nachdem er in der Kirche eine sehr komische Frau getroffen hatte, wird sein Fahrrad von einem anderen komischen Mädchen gestohlen. Er rennt ihr hinterher und findet sie bewusstlos auf der Straße liegend. Ihr Name ist Miyamura Miyako und ihr Rucksack wurde ihr von einem Mann auf einem Motorrad gestohlen. Wenig später fangen sie an miteinander herumzuhängen, das High-School-Leben zu genießen usw. Hiros Leben ist dennoch sehr von seinem Kindheitsfreund, Shindou Kei, beeinflusst.
