Ayashimon (2021)

After the head of the Enma syndicate died a few years ago, his shadow empire broke into several small Yakuza factions. Their ranks filled increasingly with “Ayashimon”, beings with supernatural powers who now lead an existence in the shadows in Japan.

Maruo Kaidou has trained his whole life to become a great hero, just like in his favourite mangas. However, he has become so strong in the process that no organisation wants to hire him! Just as he is about to give up on his plan in frustration, he meets Urara, who is on the run from dangerous gangsters. Maruo is thrilled to finally be able to use his power to protect the girl, and after initial doubts, Urara accepts his help. Together they found a new faction and get involved in the underground.

Maruo Kaidou hat sein Leben lang trainiert, um ein großer Held zu werden, so wie in seinen Lieblingsmangas. Allerdings ist er dabei so stark geworden, dass keine Organisation ihn einstellen möchte! Als er gerade seinen Plan frustriert aufgeben will, begegnet er Urara, die auf der Flucht vor gefährlichen Gangstern ist. Maruo ist begeistert davon, endlich seine Kraft einsetzen zu können, um das Mädchen zu beschützen und nach anfänglichen Zweifeln akzeptiert Urara seine Hilfe. Gemeinsam gründen sie eine neue Fraktion und beginnen, im Untergrund ordentlich mitzumischen.
