Naos Mutter erhält eine Anstellung als Konditorin im berühmten Kogetsuan. Doch als der Inhaber kurz darauf tot aufgefunden wird, wird Naos Mutter von dessen Sohn des Mordes bezichtigt. Sie wird verhaftet und stirbt im Gefängnis.
