Der finale Kampf zwischen dem Helden Unheilszerstörer und dem mächtigen Nekromanten Leichengott findet ein plötzliches Ende, als letzterer eine unerwartete Art von Magie benutzt: Magie der Wiedergeburt. Anstatt jedoch in der Gestalt einer seiner Untergeben wiederzuerwachen, geht irgendetwas schief und der Nekromant schlägt seine Augen in einer fremden Welt wieder auf. Er befindet sich in dem Körper des eigentlich gerade verstorbenen Polka Shinoyama mitten in Shinjuku, Tokyo. Wie ist er hier gelandet und was ist mit dem vorigen Besitzer seines Körpers passiert? Viele Fragen warten auf den mächtigen Nekromanten, als vor ihm plötzlich ein Mädchen steht, das den Vorbesitzer seines jetzigen Körpers ermordet hat.
