Angel Cop (1990)

To combat rising attacks by communist terrorists, Japan has created a special security force authorized to use lethal force. Angel, the newest member of the force, fights to take down the terrorist group, Red May. Accidentally uncovering ties between Red May and the government, she and the rest of the Special Security Force are targeted for execution by 3 "hunters", enhanced psychics, working for the government. Die Geschichte spielt in einem alternativen Universum um 1990, in welchem Japan die größte Wirtschaftsmacht der Welt ist. Die kommunistisch radikale Gruppe Red May versucht, Japans Wirtschaft herunterzuziehen und die Regierung zu übernehmen.

Zur Gegenwehr wird eine Regierungsagentur, die »Special Security Force« gebildet, der es auslaubt ist, auch außerhalb des Gesetzes zu arbeiten. Als jedoch die Red Force plötzlich ausgelöscht wird, erkennt die SSF, dass auch jemand anderes die Terroristen jagt.

El manga cuenta la vida de Angel, una chica que trabaja en la Brigada Antiterrorista del Angel y sus compañeros van detrás de unos terroristas, que intentan atentar contra el Japón, primera potencia mundial.

Existe un grupo especial, que se encarga de eliminar a estos terroristas. Esto es descubierto por Angel, pero cuando intentan delatar quienes son, todos los agente de la brigada antiterrorista son eliminados , excepto Angel que esta mal herida y Raider, entonces es cuando transforman el cuerpo de Angel en ciborg, para luchar contra este grupo secreto, el cual se compone de tres personas con poderes paranormales.
