Chii und ihr Ehemann sind eigentlich wie jedes andere glücklich verheiratete Paar. Es gibt nur einem einzigen Unterschied, Chii wurde nämlich als Junge geboren. Der Manga beschreibt in einer kleinen Autobiografie ihre Erfahrungen damit im falschen Geschlecht aufzuwachsen und ihre spätere Entscheidung einer Geschlechtsumwandlung im frühen Erwachsenenalter. Kurz nachdem Chii mit ihren ersten Schritten in Richtung der Geschlechtsumwandlung beginnt, trifft sie einen Mann, der sofort von ihr verzückt ist und obwohl er überrascht ist als er erfährt, dass Chii eigentlich ein Mann ist, möchte er dennoch mit ihr ausgehen. Ihr Freund unterstützt sie, während sie mit ihrer Geschlechtsumwandlung fortfährt und nachdem die Umwandlung endgültig durchgeführt wurde, heiraten die zwei auch offiziell.
