Der Dämonenkönig führt seine Armee der Dämonen in die Schlacht, um die menschliche Rasse ein für alle Mal auszulöschen. Der Held, Kail, und seine Begleiter greifen deswegen das Schloss des Dämonenkönigs an. Letztendlich wird der Dämonenkönig bezwungen, doch um welchen Preis? Kail hat in diesem Krieg alles verloren ‒ Freunde, Verwandte, seine Liebe und Kameraden. Alle sind tot. Als er, dem Tode nahe, in ein geheimes Zimmer kriecht, sieht er ein seltsames Juwel, welches der Dämonenkönig zu verstecken versucht hat. Kail nimmt dieses Juwel und nachdem das starke Leuchten, das von diesem ausging verblasste, bemerkt er, dass er Jahre in die Vergangenheit gereist ist. Nachdem er sich von diesem Schock erholt hat, versucht er, als sein jüngeres Ich die Fehler aus der Zukunft zu vermeiden und stärker zu werden, als er es dort war …
