Ayako ist eifersüchtig auf Yukiko und möchte unbedingt das Tischtennismatch gegen sie gewinnen, um im Finale gegen Chikage antreten zu können, da sie sich so ihr gegenüber beweisen kann und glaubt so ihre Bewunderung zu erhalten. Yukiko kämpft ebenfalls für ihre Bewunderung, hat aber gleichzeitig den Druck ihrer Klassenkameraden im Rücken, die von ihr einen Sieg erwarten, da sie die einzige übriggebliebene Erstklässlerin in dem Turnier ist. Das Turnier soll allerdings weiter reichende Konsequenzen für Yukiko haben, mit denen sie nur schwer umgehen kann.
