Description

KakaoPage is a South Korean manhwa and webtoon portal that was developed by Podotree and went online in April 2013.

Podotree, in turn, was founded on July 20, 2010, as a subsidiary of Kakao Corp. which, at the time, had not yet merged with Daum. In August 2018, Podotree was renamed KakaoPage Corp.

After KakaoPage Corp. merged with Kakao M, KakaoPage has been managed by the resulting company, Kakao Entertainment Corp., since March 2021.

KakaoPage ist ein südkoreanisches Manhwa- und Webtoon-Portal, das von Podotree entwickelt wurde und im April 2013 online ging.

Podotree wiederum wurde am 20. Juli 2010 als Tochterunternehmen von Kakao Corp. gegründet, das zu jener Zeit noch nicht mit Daum fusioniert war. Im August 2018 wurde Podotree in KakaoPage Corp. umbenannt.

Nachdem KakaoPage Corp. mit Kakao M fusioniert ist, wird KakaoPage seit März 2021 von dem dadurch entstandenen Unternehmen Kakao Entertainment Corp. verwaltet.
