Die vier Schwestern Haruka, Natsuno, Akimi und Fuyuko leben alleine unter einem Dach, seit die Mutter nach einem Unglück verschollen und der Vater bald darauf gestorben ist. Während die beiden älteren, Haruka und Natsuno, schon berufstätig sind und für den Unterhalt sorgen, gehen die beiden jüngeren, Akimi und Fuyuko, noch zur Schule. Da trifft eines Tages Akimi am Fluss einen Hund, der zu ihrer großen Verblüffung sprechen kann und sich ihr als Junkers vorstellt. Doch dieser Hund kann nicht nur sprechen, er kann auch drei Wünsche gewähren, wie er selbst versichert. Bald darauf läuft im Fernsehen ein Bericht über eine geheimnisvolle Frau in Paris, die zur Verwunderung aller ihrer Mutter auffallend ähnlich ist, weswegen sie beschließen, der Sache umgehend auf den Grund zu gehen. Da wird ihnen Junkers magische Fähigkeit doch sicherlich von Nutzen sein …
