The Devil May Cry bar is more than just a place to get drinks: it also serves as headquarters for the half-demon Dante, from which he fulfils a wide variety of missions. It’s no wonder that Dante carries two pistols as well as a huge sword because he has to deal with demons on most of his missions.

His clients are not only numerous but often also unusual; the best examples would be the demon hunter Lady as well as Trish, who is a demon herself. Perhaps the most normal company for Dante is young Patty Lowell, who lives in an orphanage and now turns out to be the supposed sole heir of the powerful and wealthy Lowell family. Dante is given the task of accompanying her to the families’ estate, but the matter will not be so easy …

Die Bar Devil May Cry ist mehr als nur ein Ort, an dem man sich Getränke einflößen kann, sie dient dem Halbdämonen Dante auch als Hauptquartier, von dem aus er verschiedenste Missionen erfüllt. Dass Dante neben einem gewaltigen Schwert auch noch zwei Pistolen mit sich führt, ist kein Wunder, denn schließlich bekommt er es bei den meisten Mission mit Dämonen zu tun.

Seine Auftraggeber sind nicht nur zahlreich, sondern oft auch ungewöhnlich; beste Beispiele wären die Dämonenjägerin Lady sowie Trish, die sogar selber ein Dämon ist. Die vielleicht normalste Gesellschaft für Dante ist wohl die junge Patty Lowell, die in einem Waisenhaus wohnt und sich nun als die angebliche Alleinerbin der mächtigen und reichen Lowell-Familie herausstellt. Dante erhält den Auftrag, sie zum Anwesen der Familien zu begleiten, doch so leicht soll die Angelegenheit nicht werden …
