Medaka no Gakkou (2001)

Medaka is a high school student who aspires to become a doctor. On the recommendation of her parents, she has just transferred to Tanaka Private School, however, she thinks that this school is a bit strange. For example, Pochi is a very nice student who always gets top grades, but he is a dog and other classmates, such as Nekoko, who is a cat that Pochi considers a rival (why is that?), are also strange. Misa, a five-year-old girl, and, of course, their class leader Mr Tanaka, whose face resembles a fish … all seem a bit strange as well.

Medaka ist eine Oberschülerin, die anstrebt, Ärztin zu werden. Auf Empfehlung ihrer Eltern ist sie gerade auf die Tanaka Privatschule gewechselt, jedoch denkt sie, dass diese Schule etwas seltsam ist. Als Beispiel: Pochi ist ein sehr netter Schüler, der immer Bestnoten bekommt, allerdings ist er ein Hund. Und auch andere Schulkameraden, wie Nekoko, die eine Katze ist und Pochi als Rivalen ansieht, sind seltsam. Auch Misa, ein fünfjähriges Mädchen, und natürlich ihr Klassenleiter Herr Tanaka, dessen Gesicht einem Fisch gleicht, wirken alle etwas seltsam …
