Xiehuo Ta De Shaonu Shidai (2024)

When young soldier Henry returns home, he is horrified to discover that his mother is terminally ill and has only a few months to live. Although her doctor tells him that she has been in terrible pain for years, Henry has never known anything about it, even though he used to live with her. He remembers all the times when he wasn’t particularly nice to her and wants nothing more than to make up for his bad behaviour.

He gets his chance to do so when a ghostly figure appears before him and makes him an unusual offer: Henry can transfer part of his lifespan to his mother! Without giving it much thought, he agrees and is surprised by the result. Suddenly, his mother is not only healthy again but also looks as young as she did in her early twenties. But this surprising change doesn’t just bring positive twists and turns their lives upside down.

Als der junge Soldat Henry nach Hause zurückkehrt, stellt er voller Schrecken fest, dass seine Mutter todkrank ist und nur noch wenige Monate zu leben hat. Obwohl ihr Arzt ihm erklärt, dass sie seit Jahren schlimme Schmerzen erleiden musste, hat Henry davon nie etwas mitbekommen, dabei hat er sogar mit ihr zusammen gewohnt. Er erinnert sich an all die Momente, in denen er nicht besonders nett zu ihr gewesen ist, und wünscht sich nichts mehr, als sein schlechtes Benehmen wieder gutzumachen.
