In the near future, a new energy resource called Orgonium is discovered that should enable people to live a life of luxury. Bayron City is a massive city in the middle of the Pacific Ocean and a mine of Orgonium. Thus, it catches the attention of the rest of the world. The problem is: the Orgonium attracts demons, so many incidents occur in the city. However, the incidents are swept under the carpet, and the masses are unaware of the existence of the demons. Only a select few, mainly demon hunters and exorcists, know the secret.

One of them is Shuu Ogata, a young man who runs his own company dealing with these demon cases. However, as he is bad with money and, therefore, often gets into financial difficulties, he accepts the orders indiscriminately and without much pay. He is assisted by his girlfriend, the high school student Kisara. In truth, she is a demon who has made a pact with him. In exchange for a kiss, she helps him eliminate the other demons. However, Ayano Yuugiri, his ex-girlfriend, also tries to help him as much as she can because of lingering feelings. All three are connected in a strange way, although their life situations could hardly be more different.

In der nahen Zukunft wird eine neue Energieressource namens Orgonium entdeckt, die es den Menschen ermöglichen soll, ein Leben voller Luxus zu führen. Bayron City, eine gewaltige Stadt mitten im Pazifik, steht als Mine des Orgoniums in der Aufmerksamkeit der restlichen Welt. Das Problem dabei ist, dass das Orgonium Dämonen anlockt und so viele Zwischenfälle in der Stadt auftreten. Weil die Ereignisse jedoch immer wieder unter den Teppich gekehrt werden, weiß die breite Masse nichts von der Existenz solcher Dämonen. Lediglich ein paar Auserwählte – hauptsächlich Dämonenjäger und Exorzisten – kennen das Geheimnis.

Einer davon ist Shuu Ogata – ein junger Mann, der seine eigene Firma führt, die sich mit solchen Dämonenfällen beschäftigt. Da er jedoch sehr schlecht mit Geld umgehen kann und deswegen des Öfteren in eine finanzielle Schieflage gerät, nimmt er die Aufträge wahllos und ohne allzu großes Honorar an. Zur Seite steht ihm dabei seine Freundin, die Oberschülerin Kisara. Diese ist in Wahrheit eine Dämonin, die mit ihm einen Pakt eingegangen ist. Im Austausch für einen Kuss hilft sie ihm, andere Dämonen zu beseitigen. Doch auch Ayano Yuugiri, seine Ex-Freundin, versucht aufgrund anhaltender Gefühle immer noch, ihm so gut es geht zu helfen. Alle drei sind auf sonderbare Weise miteinander verbunden, obwohl ihre Lebenssituationen kaum unterschiedlicher sein könnten.
