Description

Two years ago, Utsuro disappeared without a trace. Although peace has returned to Edo in the meantime, the Yorozuya and the Shinsengumi are restless after the war. So Gintoki sets out to find Utsuro’s body. To find a cure for Sadaharu, Kagura travels across the universe. The Shinsengumi, in turn, temporarily disband, and Sougo Okita joins the mafia. Shinpachi’s life, on the other hand, is largely uneventful until, one day, he meets a man with a loincloth on his face. After being lured to earth under a pretext, Kagura encounters the same man. But why does he suddenly run frantically away from them?

Vor zwei Jahren verschwand Utsuro ohne jede Spur. Obwohl in Edo inzwischen Ruhe einkehrte, sind die Yorozuya und die Shinsengumi nach dem Krieg rastlos. So begibt sich Gintoki auf die Suche nach Utsuros Körper. Um ein Heilmittel für Sadaharu zu finden, reist Kagura durch das Universum. Die Shinsengumi wiederum lösen sich temporär auf und Sougo Okita tritt der Mafia bei. Shinpachis Leben verläuft hingegen weitgehend ereignislos, bis er eines Tages einen Mann mit einem Lendenschurz im Gesicht trifft. Nachdem Kagura unter einem Vorwand auf die Erde gelockt wurde, begegnet sie demselben Mann. Doch warum läuft er mit einem Mal hektisch vor ihnen davon?
