Taozi is a spiritual healer whose somewhat difficult character is a mixture of angel and demon. She travels around the world with a young monk named Moya, whose development has been stunted, whose life she saved and who has been her assistant ever since. It is not long before Gungun the Grey Fox, Prince Liu Gonzi the Serpent Devil, who has taken control of a man’s body, and others join her on her adventure. They put their skills to the test by treating ghosts, monsters, and even animals that need their help in hopeless situations. In exceptional cases, they also help people on their journey.

Taozi ist eine Geistheilerin, deren etwas schwieriger Charakter einer Mischung aus Engel und Dämon gleichkommt. Sie reist mit einem jungen, in seiner Entwicklung gehemmten Mönch namens Moya um die Welt, dem sie das Leben gerettet hat und der ihr seither als Gehilfe zur Seite steht. Es dauert nicht lange, bis Gungun der graue Fuchs, Prinz Liu Gonzi der Schlangenteufel, der der Kontrolle über eines Menschen Körpers übernommen hat, und andere sich ihrem Abenteuer anschließen. Sie stellen ihre Fähigkeiten unter Beweis, indem sie Geister, Monster und auch Tiere behandeln, die ihre Hilfe in ausweglosen Situationen benötigen. In Ausnahmefällen helfen sie auch Menschen auf ihrer Reise.
