Show by Rock!! Mashumairesh!! (2020)

Howan spends her days in the countryside, but the young, innocent girl actually has completely different dreams. She would like to demonstrate her singing skills to the whole world. When she returns from harvesting winter radish one day, her dream seems to come closer: she has actually made it through the first round of an audition and has been invited to come to Midi City. While those around her are reeling, Howan doesn’t hesitate for long, grabs her beloved guitar and takes the train towards the city to finally fulfil her dreams.

Meanwhile, the girls Himiko, Delmin and Ruhuyu make music together in that very city, using Himiko’s uncle’s studio for their rehearsals. When they spontaneously do a live performance in town, this also attracts Howan, who, for a brief moment, forgets her real purpose and promptly joins the group. The three quickly become friends with Howan, who, over time, becomes increasingly immersed in the world of bands and musicians; it is only a matter of time before a new band, Mashumairesh, looks forward to a bright future …

Howan verbringt ihre Tage auf dem Land, dabei hat das junge, unschuldige Mädchen eigentlich ganz andere Träume, würde sie doch gerne ihr Gesangsqualitäten der ganzen Welt demonstrieren. Als sie eines Tages von der Winterrettich-Ernte zurückkehrt, scheint ihr Traum in greifbare Nähe gerückt zu sein, hat sie bei einem Vorsingen doch tatsächlich die erste Runde überstanden und soll nun nach Midi City kommen. Während ihr Umfeld noch ganz hin und weg ist, zögert Howan nicht lang, schnappt sich ihre geliebte Gitarre und nimmt den Zug Richtung Stadt, um sich endlich ihre Träume zu erfüllen.

Währenddessen machen die Mädchen Himiko, Delmin und Ruhuyu gemeinsam Musik in ebendieser Stadt und nutzen das Studio von Himikos Onkel für ihre Proben. Als sie spontan in der Stadt eine Live-Performance machen, lockt das auch Howan an, die für einen kurzen Moment ihr eigentliches Anliegen vergisst und sich prompt der Gruppe anschließt. Schnell schließen die drei Freundschaft mit Howan, die mit der Zeit zunehmend in die Welt der Bands und der Musiker eintaucht; es ist nur eine der Frage der Zeit, bis mit Mashumairesh eine neue Band hoffnungsvoll auf eine strahlende Zukunft blickt …
