Gibiate (2020)

“Gibiate” is set in Japan in the year 2030, where a new virus named Gibia has spread throughout the world and infected humanity. The virus causes people to transform into monsters known as Gibias, which develop based on the human‘s individual characteristics, such as age or gender. One day, a time-travelling Samurai and a ninja from the Edo period arrive at Japan‘s wasteland. Together with a doctor, they try to find a cure. At it, they have to stand up to both the infected and outlaws, who act ruthless in search for something to eat. A dangerous journey begins, with deadly dangers everywhere.

»Gibiate« handelt in Japan des Jahres 2030, wo sich ein neuartiges Virus mit dem Namen Gibia in der Welt verbreitet und die Menschheit infiziert hat. Das Virus bewirkt eine Verwandlung der Menschen in verschiedene als Gibias bezeichnete Monster, die sich abhängig von den individuellen Merkmalen des Menschen, wie Alter oder Geschlecht, entwickeln. Ein zeitreisender Samurai und ein Ninja aus der Edo-Periode treffen eines Tages in der Einöde des verseuchten Japans ein. Gemeinsam mit einem Arzt suchen sie nach einem Heilmittel und müssen sich dabei sowohl gegen die Infizierten als auch gegen Gesetzlose behaupten, die auf der Suche nach etwas Nahrung ohne Skrupel vorgehen. Es beginnt eine gefährliche Reise, die überall tödliche Gefahren bereithält.

Un samouraï voyageant dans le temps et un ninja de la période Edo arrivent un jour dans le désert du Japon contaminé. Avec l’aide d’un médecin, ils cherchent un remède et doivent faire face à la fois aux infectés et aux hors-la-loi qui agissent sans scrupules à la recherche de nourriture. Un voyage périlleux commence, des dangers mortels les guettant partout.

«Gibiate» e ambientato nel Giappone dell’anno 2030, dove si è diffuso nel mondo un nuovo virus chiamato Gibia e ha infettato l’umanità. Il virus provoca la trasformazione di umani in mostri, i Gibia. Questi si trasformano a seconda delle caratteristiche degli umani come l’età o il sesso. Un samurai viaggiatore nel tempo e un ninja dell’epoca Edo arrivano un giorno nella landa desolata del Giappone contaminato. Insieme ad un dottore cercano una cura e devono, nel mentre, combattere sia contro gli infettati che contro i delinquenti che alla ricerca di un po’ di cibo agiscono senza scrupoli. Inizia un viaggio pericoloso che nasconde pericoli dappertutto.
