Yatogame-chan Kansatsu Nikki 2 (2020)

Kaito Jin, who moved to Nagoya at the beginning of the previous season, finally feels like he belongs here. But that doesn’t stop him from finding out more about the dialect and the region‘s background. And who would be a better teacher than the members of the photo club he‘s in? Especially Monaka, one of the few still speaking the dialect.

“Yatogame-chan Kansatsu Nikki 2” shows further events around Monoka und Kaito; among others, how a classmate from Tokyo experiences the merits of a local café for the first time, even though things like a giant knocked over soft ice cause a stir. And when it‘s time to play “Taspony” at the ball sports tournament, nobody knows what that’s supposed to be – until Monaka has an explanation: it‘s a variant of tennis – but it’s played with bare hands.

Kaito Jin, der zu Beginn der Vorgängerstaffel nach Nagoya gezogen ist, hat allmählich das Gefühl, angekommen zu sein. Doch das hält ihn nicht davon ab, mehr über Dialekt und Hintergrund zur Region zu erfahren. Und wer wäre als Lehrkraft besser geeignet, als die Mitglieder in seinem Fotografieklub? Allen voran natürlich Monaka, die in ihrer Schule immer noch eine der wenigen ist, die den Dialekt tatsächlich sprechen.

»Yatogame-chan Kansatsu Nikki 2« zeigt weitere Erlebnisse rund um Monaka und Kaito; unter anderem, wie eine Mitschülerin aus Tokio erstmals die Vorzüge eines örtlichen Cafés erlebt, auch wenn Dinge wie ein umgekipptes Riesensofteis eher für Entsetzen sorgen. Und als am Tag des Ballsportturniers »Taspony« gespielt werden soll, weiß offenbar niemand, was das sein soll – bis Monaka mit einer Erklärung herausrückt: Es ist eine Art Tennis – nur wird es mit blanken Händen gespielt.

Jin Kaito, che agli inizi della stagione precedente si è trasferito a Nagoya, comincia a sentirsi a casa. Questo lo porta a voler sapere di più sul dialetto e la storia della regione. E chi meglio dei membri del club di fotografia per aiutarlo? Soprattutto Yatogame, che è una delle poche persone che parla ancora il dialetto.

«Yatogame-chan Kansatsu Nikki 2» mostra altre esperienze intorno a Yatogame e Jin, tra cui, come una compagna di scuola di Tokyo impara ad apprezzare per la prima volta i meriti del bar locale, anche se delle cose che sembrano un cono gelato capovolto fanno spaventare. Il giorno del torneo di palla «Taspony» nessuno sa di che cosa si tratta, fino a quando Yatogame spiega che è una specie di tennis, giocato, però, con le mani.
