Fairy Gone (2019)

In the world of “Fairy Gone”, where animals are possessed by fairies and thus exhibit special powers, humans surgically remove the fairies from the bodies of the animals to transplant them into themselves. This allows for those fairies to be summoned and used as weapons by those who underwent the surgery – the so-called Fairy Soldiers. Now, after a long war has finally ended, these Fairy Soldiers – once the deciding factor in the war – have lost their purpose in life and struggle to reintegrate into society. They ended up in many layers of society; some are terrorists, some are mafiosi, others go on to become government officials.

Nine years after the end of the war, Marlya is a rookie in Dorothea, an organization dedicated to investigating and reducing fairy-related crimes and incidents. Even in times of peace, the government apparatus is anything but stable. Many criminals still face the scars of the past and terrorists seek revenge. Some Fairy Soldiers are searching for their own justice in this chaotic post-war world.

In der Welt von »Fairy Gone«, in der die Tiere von Feen besessen sind und dadurch von speziellen Kräften profitieren, entnehmen Menschen chirurgisch die Feen aus den Körpern der Tiere, um sie in Menschen zu transplantieren. Dadurch können die Feen von jenen Menschen, den sogenannten Fairy Soldiers, beschworen und als Waffe genutzt werden. Nach einem lang andauernden Krieg haben die Fairy Soldiers ihre Bestimmung verloren und müssen sich in die Gesellschaft wieder reintegrieren. Von Regierungstätigkeit über Mafiosi bis hin zu Terroristen – verschiedenste Lebenswege wurden von ihnen beschritten.

Neun Jahre nach Ende des Krieges beginnt Marlya als Neuling ihre Arbeit bei Dorothea, einer Organisation mit dem Ziel der Ermittlung und Eindämmung von Straftaten und Zwischenfällen im Zusammenhang mit den Fairys. Auch in Friedenszeiten ist der Regierungsapparat nicht wirklich stabil. Viele Kriminelle haben noch verbliebene Wunden und Terroristen wollen sich rächen. Hier suchen einige Fairy Soldiers nach ihrer eigenen Gerechtigkeit in einer chaotischen Nachkriegswelt.

Dans le monde de Fairy Gone, où les animaux sont possédés par des fées et bénéficient donc de pouvoirs spéciaux, les humains retirent chirurgicalement les fées du corps des animaux afin de les transplanter dans les humains. Cela permet aux fées d’être invoquées et utilisées comme armes par ces humains, connus sous le nom de Soldats féeriques. Après une longue guerre, les soldats féeriques ont perdu leur raison d’être et doivent se réintégrer dans la société. Qu’ils travaillent pour le gouvernement, soient des mafieux ou des terroristes, ils ont emprunté des chemins de vie très variés.

Neuf ans après la fin de la guerre, Marlya commence son travail de recrue au sein de Dorothea, une organisation chargée d’enquêter sur les crimes et incidents liés aux fées et de les contenir. Même en temps de paix, l’appareil gouvernemental n’est pas vraiment stable. De nombreux criminels ont des blessures persistantes et les terroristes cherchent à se venger. Ici, certains soldats féeriques cherchent à obtenir leur propre justice dans un monde chaotique d’après-guerre.

Nel mondo di Fairy Gone, nel quale gli animali vengono posseduti da fate e di conseguenza approfittano dei loro poteri speciali, umani dividono chirurgicamente le fate dai corpi degli animali per trapiantarli nei corpi degli umani. In tal modo, le fate possono venir evocate dai Fairy Soldiers e usate come arma. Dopo una lunga guerra, i Fairy Soldiers hanno perso la loro ragione di essere e devono reintegrarsi nella società. Fanno di tutto ormai, da lavori per governi a il fare i mafiosi, fino al terrorismo.

Nove anni dopo la fine della guerra, Marlya inizia come novellina il suo lavoro da Dorothea, un’organizzazione che ha come obiettivo di ricercare e arginare delitti e disordini in collegamento ai Fairy. Anche in momenti di pace il governo non è molto stabile. Molti criminali hanno ancora delle ferite aperte e i terroristi vogliono la vendetta. Ed è proprio qui che alcuni dei Fairy Soldier cercano la propria giustizia in un periodo caotico del dopo guerra.
